Welcome to one of the Seven Wonders of the World! This is due to its stunning architectural design, created by Shah Jahan with the help of a team of the finest architects, He commissioned the construction to be carried out by 20,000 workers from various nationalities around the world, It is said that the Taj Mahal was built with a design similar to that of castles, with an underground structure that remains a mystery to this day, There is also a beautiful story behind its creation, It is considered one of the most joyful places you can visit in India.

Shah Jahan is considered one of the greatest Mughal rulers in history, and his story with his third wife is truly remarkable. He fell deeply in love with her, and after she gave birth to one of their children, she fell seriously ill. She could no longer move or speak, and the king was unable to save her. In her final days, she asked him to immortalize their love in a way that would never be forgotten.
After her passing, the king shut himself away in grief, and the palace remained in mourning for two whole years with no celebrations or joy. After this period, he decided to honor her last wish. He set out to build the magnificent monument, Taj Mahal, where both his and his wife’s remains were eventually laid to rest. The monument was named after her, “Mumtaz Mahal.” Even the entrance gate is called Mumtaz Mahal. Every detail of the Taj Mahal has a deep meaning, and the king made an agreement with the workers and architects to ensure no other structure like it would be built anywhere in the world, preserving the Taj Mahal’s uniqueness and value.

The upper structure houses a site for visiting the tombs of the king and his wife, while their bodies are located in the lower part of the Taj Mahal. The building was designed in an impressive way, and here are some details about it:
On each side of the Taj Mahal, the same building is repeated. On one side there are 11 domes and on the other side there are 11 domes. If you add the two numbers, the result is the number of years in which the Taj Mahal was built, which is 22 years.

The building is made of white alabaster that changes color with lighting so that it is different every time you visit the shrine. On one side there are 16 gardens and on the other side the same number. He created these gardens due to his wife’s love of flowers, and on each side there are 52 fountains. If you put the two numbers next to each other, the result is The year in which the Taj Mahal was built, which was 1652 AD, it was designed in a special style, as a moon was placed on top of the domes, which is an indication of the Islamic religion, and it also placed some connotations. For the Hindus so that his people will not be sad.

Surah Al-Fajr and many Qur’anic surahs are engraved on the building’s wall, out of pride in the Islamic religion. Also, the lighthouses built around the Taj Mahal lean outward, away from the building, in case any shaking or falling occurs, in order to preserve the main building.
